Geeze it's been ages since i've posted anything up on the forums but today we got a little bit of sunshine in the middle of what has been a freezing winter here in Melbourne, Australia. I thought it would be a good oppertunity to take my daughter and my wife of course (who else will hold her for me while i'm snapping away) up to the park for some photos. The following were some of the better ones that I took. Any comments will be appreciated. Thanks all.

Very beautiful eyes...one small critique...her skin tone is a bit too white and sort of over powers the tones of each shot...even the B&W. I have that problem too when taking pics of my kids. I usually have to dial up the "temp" a bit to give their skin slightly more color. I do like the compositions and as I said, the crispness of her eyes.

In 3 and 4, maybe a bit more contrast and a slight vignette would make these jump.

Nice one. Thanks for the tips there. Always good to get some positive feedback. That pesky bright sun caused the skin tones to be so bright..

#1 and #2 are amazing, I love those. So what did you use to "frame" her in #2?

The frame was actually part of the play equipment at the park. Kind of like a ladder type thing with footholes. So she was peeking through the holes and my wife took the photos on the other side.. I justg cleaned up the white bits..
