I am interested in posting photo's to a Web Gallery using Lightroom.

I understand that when in the Web module, hitting Export will cause lightroom to place all the necessary files (index.html etc) into a folder of my choice.

From now on I am in the dark. Do I need to set up storage on a server via my ISP (as the training tutorials suggest) or can it be set up in Flickr, Photobucket etc ?.

Put more simply,,,,,, how do you use the Web module?, any response greatly appreciated.

There are lots of ways to use one or more sets of images as manual selection type web galleries or self-running slide shows. I use Lightroom's Web module as a place to generate galleries of images, scans of letters and illustrations and so on. I have an account at HostMonster that costs around $6/month. In that account there is a public folder that is set up to accept my uploads. I give each upload a unique name. I find that I prefer to make a folder on my local disk and then upload the folder to that web-based public folder using Fetch (on a Mac). That way I have a backup on my local disk. Each folder generated by Lightroom Web has a index.html file in it so things can get confusing.
