Well sweetie, when someone sees perfection, why bother trying to top it? ;)

Conversely, when someone sees, well, less than perfection, they're sorely tempted to try to top it.

Which is obviously why this thread kicked off again almost immediately after I posted my image. :D

Prolly should've posted a magnified version of my avatar instead. ;)

I don't have to many photos of me... this one is like one year old from high school. I'm, from left to right, number 4 or the one that have blue with yellow tie.

Nah.... like I said, it is one of my two favorites in this thread!

LucyRoberts trivia.....

Lucy was a character at a Six Flags theme Park for 1 summer... her two main roles... Tweety Bird and Marvin the Martian.

Pay... awesome.

That sounds like an awsome job Lucy. I however would have tackled the frat brats while wearing the tweety bird getup after getting smacked up side the head 500 times. NO ONE would want to get tackled by Tweety Bird....no one.

Sounds like you forgot to bring your Illudium Q-36 Explosive Space Modulator!

You're just collecting shots of Lucy in all different sorts of outfits huh? Hows that poster sized collage coming along?

Well, I bet she'd get more up if you would just let her have one of your poster sized job pics:lol::rolleyes:.

LOL... we usually had an escort that would help us with that. That and with peripheral vision issues. One night Tweety did go postal though. I had had enough with this group of 5 guys and decided it was time to put 2 foot long bird feet to good use. I started just kicking the crap out of them. That was before I cared about how a kid would be truamatized by seeing tweety go ninja. It felt really good.

It was a great job though and to be making 15 bucks an hour 11 years ago was pretty darn good.

Another trivial tidbit. At the time, when you were hired on by six flags you would go through an orientation day where they would show this video (external link) as an example how to NOT treat the guests.

It's odd, the more noise I add to photos of me the better I look... I think there's something in that for me. If you squint your eyes just enough so that you can't see, I look like Brad Pitt. I'm told with my face I could be a star... on the radio.

Thanks.

C&C welcome, BTW. I tried something somewhat "different" (but not terribly hard) on the conversion to B&W for that shot and thought the results were interesting enough to make it worth posting.

They just don't make cartoons the way Warner did back in the day. Those cartoons are timeless and still amazingly funny. I have their DVD "Golden Collection" volumes 1 through 4 and am waiting for more! The stuff they did between the late forties through the mid to late fifties was their best work by far, I think.

These days they have to make them politically correct and everything, and it totally ruins it. Well, that and the music just isn't the same, either.
