Yeah, that's right, first duck shot. I have had my dslr for about 2 years and never took any duck shots to contribute to POTN. So for my first, I present two ducklings.

Disappointed yer didna post these cute Duckies in our 'White-ringed Quack' thread, instead of that ugly thing yer did post, but congratulation on reaching 1000 posts lad. Most of it was probably pointless chatting mind you ;-)a

Well thank you condyk for your kind words....I think????

Pointless chatting, i don't know what you're talking about...all chatting has substance and a point to the comment  .

As for posting the ducklings here, it was my first duckie post, so I thought I would put it here. The other one is not ugly :( , it was the purdyest duck at the pond...

Robert, congratulations on your big 1000 posts. Those baby ducks are so cute, don't they look soft? I just want to cuddle one against my cheek and listen to it "meep". Just for a second. I'm a sucker for babies. A haiku to your thread count success:

Robert is the man.
If he can't do it, so what?
Robert is the shyte.

Who said it had to rhyme? ;)

Haha nice poem...haiku doen't have to rhyme...:)

You rhymed up above anyway, 'Cheek', 'Meep'.

Had some other shots of the duckies, but came out a little blurry....movin way too much to keep up with mamma and fighting over the bread that my son was feeding them.
