And I'm sure there is a thread where people are taking it seriously. Problem is actual real 40D leaks have been very sparse, most of the info out there is just various sites making educated guesses. Almost makes you wonder if the 40D will be a spring release. :)

So I've got a Powershot A10, any word of an update for it?

Real rumors?

There are guesses. There is speculation. There are wish lists. Sometimes there are even leaks. There are links to sites where people are making guesses, speculations and wishes and revealing supposed leaks. Which of these would you describe as a real rumor? None of them can be purchased as a new camera, but you might be able to find somebody who would sell one.

Before a new camera is released some selected people will be given the opportunity to do some Beta Testing and review pre-production models for media outlets, but all these people will be required to sign non-disclosure agreements. Among the penalies for non-compliance there will be a blockage of any future preferential treatment.

My next camera will be the 6000 SUX.

Are they going to throw in a Blaupunkt?

Or do obscure movie quotations belong on a different thread?

Original characters, not cast. Last I heard, Matt Damon was in the running to play a very youthful James Kirk, but more likely will be Zachary Quinto (Sylar in "Heroes") as a just-out-of-Starfleet-Academy Spock.

This is nonsense. They just have to make a few more tweaks on the replicator and they will make an new William Shatner. (As if one old one isn't enough!)

Using warp speed, of course. They certainly ought to be able to arrive in a past time frame soon enough to pluck him off Earth in his prime. Who could be a better engineer than Scotty?

Set course for Vulcan. All ahead, warp factor 8, Mr. Sulu!! Spock is getting Frisky!

I hear the NEW 40D will come in various colors like the IPOD. These are your selection of colors: Black, Silver, Mettalic Pink, Metallic Blue, and of course you can't forget L Red. I think that would be soooo cool! :p ;)

Yeah, I heard it is the 46D. Aimed at the female market with a tie-in from La Perla--comes in a lace version.

LMAO!!!!

Will the camera strap have the double hook closure or triple hook closure? And will this include a new line of tripod stilettos and padding filters that compensate for size?

I know! But I just can't resist throwing in a bit of Trek news. Personally, I've heard enough rumour about the next big thing (or thong, in the case of the up-coming 46D). Gonna be the Dirty Thirty for me, oh yeah, baby....

It better be velcro. I suck with hooks.

No way! I heard they were replacing the 30D with the longer playing version, the 33 1/3D!

I wonder how many will know what a 33 1/3 is???
