Dragonfly panorama

Just amazing !
Very sharp and lot of details.

Great shot! The only thing is that you can tell where the photos are stitched together due to different a different focus (one part is blurry then suddenly sharp within the same line. That is am AMAZING shot. How did you get it to stay still or did you just take them really fast?

Shinigami - Yes you can see the joins if you look for them- I didn't try to hide them particularly- some PS work would have sorted that out. Was just trying to show that it is possible to do this with stitching software.
The dragonfly was in a fairly stable pose and I did take the shots fairly fast- sometimes they move and you have to start again.

Superb Shot/Pano, just cranked the Mag up as high as poss & the detail is amazing,

Did you use photomerge for this picture? I always end up with this obnoxious lines when i try to make panoramas with PS's photomerge. Any advice?

Ran_ photography. No I was using autopano pro to do this, there is a freeware demo version of the merging engine available somewhere on the web but i can't at the moment remember what it is called. This type of panorama software is slightly unique in that it does not assume the pictures were taken in a straight line.
