Nice one Pete.
Further to Linda's comments about dragonfly numbers, dragonflies spend most of their lives as nymphs living in ponds and rivers, sometimes for up to three years, before emerging as flying adults. As a result, the effects of this year's wet summer may not be known for two or three years when nymphs bred this year reach adulthood. Smaller species such as damselflies emerge more quickly and may well take a hit next year.

Thanks Irwin , paintballa , Brian , vulcan and Alex :D
Thanks Leorooster I will sharpen it in Photoshop ( I use smart sharpen , lens blur ) I do agree with you prefering the amount of saturation in the origanal post but asylum has definately improved the shapness and contrast. I will have to spend more time with photoshop I tend to just convert from raw and then go out and take some more photos :D
Thanks Linda and Eccles The dragonflies have been very few and far between since the bad weather started, the last time I saw Dragonflies in numbers was in May when the Clubtails were out on the Dee.
I was wondering if they have been able to breed in this weather I hope that some have been able to.
Thanks for your comments everyone :D
Pete
