More info | When you're not perfectly square when shooting something with strong parallel vert & horz lines like doors and windows they the doors and windows will become trapezoidal and the lines will no longer be parallel. It becomes even more evident when shooting with side angle lenses. You can get some really interesting results but you need to be really off. When its just slightly off it looks kinda strange.

You can always straigten it out in photoshop edit/transform/perspctive but the more you get right up front the less you have to do later. Agree. My favorite here is the first one. Kenny A. Chaffin

You've played with those possibilities here and it is tickling - almost in the giggle sense - when I wonder if you've helped me reach a conclusion. Maybe the answer is as different as the owners-of-the-moment of each doorway. Certainly the original designers' intentions have been re-directed with the makeup and jewelery of varnish and hardware.
