Hi all,
I just got back from a great holiday in the Western Isles (Scotland), where, on the island of Mingulay, I photographed this butterfly. The nearest I can find after consulting four different books is the Dark Green Fritillary, but none of the pictures look exactly like this one. Any thoughts from the experts would be much appreciated!

I must say, I'm seriously impressed with the sharpness I'm getting from the 70-200 f/4L + 1.4x extender, used for this shot.

Nice shot Mark, I would say it's a Dark green also.

Love the shot, it looks very much like the Dark Green Fritillary (dark - Scotland) illustration in my reference book.
