Hi all,
Totally new to the site and i must say there are a LOT of excellent pics and obviously a lot of very tallented people here.

I love taking pics (amater level ) and currently i have a cannon 300D

These are a couple of pics i took about 18 months ago on a previous camera, but i would welcome your comments.
they had both just come out of the shower and sat on my bed with the sun streaming in from the side window

I'll be honest with you I know very little about photography, I'm still learning so don't take what I say too serious but I love these shots.:) The 2nd shot is fantastic. I would be proud of these!

They're very nice. I like the black and white. The girls eyes are great..but I'm not a big fan of the sharp shadow across her face. That's distracting to me. You've got great focus on their eyes...but in each photo, one eye is in deep shadow. A little fill light (flash fill) or a reflector to just fill in the shadow a little and your golden.

Really nice, tho'. Good job!

Thanks for the comments - its appreciated. its funny coz in the 2nd photo my son was trying soooo hard not to laugh.

Mikelangelo - thanks for the tips, at present i dont have any extra flash equipment, but it is on the list of things to get when the kids grow up and leave home... or with the next bonus :D

Cheers all

Andy
