60G's if memory serves right.

My guess is that those are the two that SI owns. I think they are only 10 or so out there.

Eitherway, they are very impressive and all, but honestly i think Nikon has Canon beat here:

I think they are around 80 grand and are custom order only. Not an off the shelf item. These are probably CPS lenses lent to the photogs for the horse race. The tri-pod comes with the lens. It weighs 85 pounds!

my entire family is in the horse business, I know or have met just about everyone, I remember the news people at some of the races when I was a kid, they had SOOOO many cool toys...

Ive never seen those before though, maybe I'll have to go start hanging around the tracks again :D

actually, a magazine just came out to do a shoot on the farm my father manages. http://www.ahwmagazine.com …alshahania/alshahania.pdf (external link) is the link if anyone is interested, nothing huge, Arabian Horse World Magazine, but still a big deal to his market, I was impressed with some of the pics...my Dad said they had some really nice equiptment, but shot film, maybe one day I can have a groovy cool photography job, starting a little late at 20, but i am a quick learner
