Hey all,
Well... This morning while cleaning out the storage room I came across my brothers old Canon FD 50mm f/1.4, that had been just laying around for years. After previously reading about the effects of reversing the 50mm I thought I'd try it out -- just holding the thing on the end of my 100mm macro.
I found it extremely difficult to capture anything in focus, especially with only one hand to balance the body -- so I got a few pieces of tape and stuck it to the end.

I think some sort of Platystomatid fly -- about 5mm in length.

A common fly -- can't remember which species.

Considering the old lens is filled with fungi and in very bad condition, I'm pretty impressed with the results. Definately convinced me to get a new 50mm lens, a long with the kenko extention tubes.

Jiva.
