Just playing around trying to find a certain artistic side.

Uh-huh.... Yin/Yang. What is the irreducable minimum which describes you to others? How to find it in an image. Hard for us to do because we are the ones who never, ever, see in person the person we picture when we picture ourselves. As we try to reveal the essence of ourselves on our own portraits we are oddly the least expert in the territory we're exploring.

Makes it hard, eh Dante?

Thanks for sharing,

Ted

A tear sheds as I realize someone knows my pain.

Something just was not quite right with my first attempt, so I tried again, I feel better about this one. More of a weird feeling I was going for.

I like the first two better. Would you like to try doing a multi-image or sequential image mosaic? Imagine 9 or 16 of the same igame staring right at you!

Editing welcome :D

Interesting, what is appealing with the first over the second ones? I plan on doing some more simular experimenting.
The set thing is a spooky, odd idea-- I must do it!

The first one - you appear more mysetrious as one of your eye/half of face is cut off.

In the second, you appear ... more human and 'approachable'.

Do post up the set if you do it! I can imagine it to have great impact if you print it up very large and have it as a floor to ceiling poster! Or imagine: you have that floor to ceiling poster of repetitive prints, and you're standing in front of it with your arms hanging lifelessly at your side, shoulders down, and someone takes a photo of you in front of that giant wall of prints just staring at those prints in a state of catatonia...like when you see a someone on the street staring blakly at a window display of TV screens showing the same show. Could easily do something like this in PhotoShop and make it look hyper stark and yet real, and in that stark reality, surreal. LOL!

Editing welcome :D

Another tear sheds.

ah... just speechless. I must try.

The bonus is that my wife and kid are away for several days... plenty of time to tear apart the living room to convert it to studio to try this project, or at least variations of.

Thanks mate!

Excellent and fun! Oh and Ted!! How do you know my thoughts and put them into words better than I ever could? You never cease to make me delve...

...But still the clever north wind was not satisfied. It spoke to her of towns yet to be visited, friends yet to be discovered...
