Thanks Andy - yeah, he had already hopped a couple of times and kept hiding behind a rosemary leaf every time I tried to get a photo, my luck changed when he decided to climb up the rosemary and stay there for a few moments. I think once he realised I wasnt going to eat him he was ok lol.

Thanks so much for the compliment on the pics, thats very kind of you :D

As for patience, well when you really enjoy doing something the time just flies by so you dont realise how long some shots take lol - seriously tho, most of the macro shots dont take too long, the ones that I find need a lot of patience and can be quite time-consuming are dragonfly shots.
