Newbie question. I just learned how to post a picture but how can I get a 100% crop? I want to post to get some C&C but don't know the procedure. I post my photos thru Smugmug.com and was wondering if anyone out there that uses Smugmug can tell me how to crop in Smugmug?

You can't... Smugmug processes the photos you upload into different sizes for viewing purposes. It is possible to view the original you uploaded but if your camera takes a 3072x2048 image and you reduce it to 1000x667 before you upload to Smugmug, the biggest you are going to see on Smugmug is the 1000x667. A 100% crop is something people do in their image editing program to show a portion of an image in detail.

you need to crop in your software befor posting it to smugmug.
If you have a crop tool in your software crop a part of the image but leave the resolution box blank. try not to make it too large and area.
Then upload it to SM and make sure people can view it at original size (O size).
