I've had it confirmed that far east 200mm's are now in short supply.

Sold mine for $4800 in UK earlier in year. Regretting it now.

They might, as the EOS 20th Anniv. showpiece.
However I kind of doubt it.
Even if they do, it will certainly be very expensive, and it would take a year or so before the general consensus on the lens performance emerges. Besides, who can say that the lens reincarnation would have a higher IQ than the old one ?
