An advertising agency has contacted me about taking some portrait shots of 9 different employees in their company. They gave me this website as an example of what they want: http://www.juneadv.com/bio-rob.php (external link)

I'm more than confident my work will make them happy, but I have NO clue what to charge them. They just want the files on a CD.

$300 for the first subject, $100 for each additional. This would include the high resolution images of their selection(s) on CD and licensing them to use the images for their website and any company brochures.

A good question to start with is "What's your budget for this?"

Then figure in an additional 25% to get closer to their "Real" figure.

I charge by the hour with a two hour minimum plus expenses. The time starts when I leave the office. I also charge a min for photoshop time of at least an hour. Every final image I give to a client has been worked on. That gives one time usage. Theres flat rates for usage after that or unlimited usage which also costs more.
