while i was walking down the street to pick up my girl friend i was taking pictures of wut ever i saw and this one ended up looking pretty cool so i started to edit it i dont know which one is better but mayb u guys an help me...

Definitely color.

My rule of thumb: If color enhances the image or composition (usually by enhancing contrast and/or creating a thematic emphasis) I do color. If color makes no diffence to the composition, the contrast etc -- I convert to grayscale.

In this case, the neutral (but slightly cool) letters pop out of the warm color of the wood, the warm wood pops from the cool background. All of that flattens when the image is converted to BW.

Color one for me, too.

Is it just me/my monitor, or does the WB look a little off, though? Slightly blue, maybe?

seems to be the consensus, but like color better
