First one would be reversing a small lens onto a larger focal length lens- assuming you have the lenses you can make a suitable connection tube or buy a male to male reversing ring.
Second would be a camera body reversing ring - fairly cheap (around £10 on ebay).

Yes what the others have said - i use the reversing method and you can buy cheap lenses that have the correct filter thread - you can buy any manufactures lenses to reverse - i prefer to use Olympus lenses as they seem to be the cheapest :D ...

Depends on what lenses you actually have. Suspect the image quality would be good from any of the methods- probably best if you used a prime lens around 50mm with a set of ext tubes. The main problem with many of these is how easy is it to take a shot.
Both a reversed lens on another lens or a lens on auto ext tubes is easy.
A reversed lens on the camera body or the use of a lens on non- auto ext tubes requires you to stop down the lens first (assuming it's an AF lens without manual aperture control) by attaching it directly to the camera- selecting the aperture you want and then removing the lens whilst keeping the DOF preview button depressed. This will set the aperture but you then end up with a slightly dim viewfinder.

I just created a macro gallery to store my kit lens macro shots, it does quite well reversed with a $14 metal ring.
