Summer Fun in the O.C.

I took this pic at a local beach. This was the daughter of a photographer friend and it was her first time being buried in the sand, and clearly she was loving it! I took the photo and enlarged it, spraying the "sand" area with spray adhesive and then sprinkling actual sand on that area so it would stick to it. I then put it in a shadowbox frame with small shells and more sand sprinkled on the bottom of the shadowbox ledge. It made a great souvenir of a fun day at the beach! sue

Suecassidy, I live in Garden Grove (technically Santa Ana, but we're surrounded on 3 sides by GG). Nice to see others who live out here!

Great photo! It makes me smile, although being buried in sand usually makes me extremely frustrated and belligerent once I get out. Thank goodness she like immobility. kidding ;)
