Yes, that is correct. I did a little bit of digging around before making the decision to go with this purchase. The lowest used camera that I was able to find at the time was around 850 shipped. Couldn't tell you as to the exact amount of usage as I don't remember. But, I can tell you that it wasn't much and would be safe to say it was lightly used. So I figured that even though I was purchasing a used camera, it would be re-certified by Canon, which gave me some peace of mind. Unless of course they just look at it and don't go too far into inspecting it. So overall, I think I got a good deal. Now it's a matter of seeing in what condition it arrives. That's when I'll be scouring the "what to do first when you get your camera so that you can check if anything is wrong" posts. Hopefully, nothing is wrong.
