Picture of a tiny wasp 1.1 mm body length taken at 4:1 and cropped. Never seen antennae quite like that before.
Suspect it's Platygastridae Leptacis sp. (from a previously ID'd wasp which didn't have quite such outlandish antennae).

Mark- yes I saw that reference- at least thee size and the backward pointy scutellum are right
Shot below of a similar wasp I got last year- the antennae just didn't seem to be so long but are fairly bent

This is one of the things I love about macro. These details are normally virtually invisible to us. The picture shows us what we are missing.

I'm fairly used to shooting bugs on this sun chair - that's what it's there for (not for sitting on)- just add another + 1 FEC to my normal flash setting.
Don't think I'm likely to run out of small wasp species- there's thousands of them
