I don't know exactly other than the new EOS 1D MarkIII has it. It's a new RAW format that is much smaller and lossless. Well, that is what I was thinking. However, I don't see it happening. You can still buy 20D's for $895.00 (Beach). So, I don't see the price dropping too much more on the 30D. Maybe another $50 when the 40D announcement is official. I think I'm going to pull the trigger on the 30D now. Canon EOS 5D
