The PSMAY (external link) code for the 5D is actually more than the current normal pricing.

Gee, which price should I take advantage of? Hmmmm, the higher price is so tempting. :)

Sorry... I don't know of any additional codes:cry:. Someone here must though.

If you don't get any hits on this thread you may want to start a new one, although, be warned...some may respond with "you're stealing...how do you sleep at night, etc." Just gotta roll with it...

On a different note Kim, does canon make a 100mm f/2. macro? I know they have a non-macro 100mm at f/2.
If macro is what you want then the 2.8 macro is tremendous. You won't be able to get as close with the non-macro 2.0, but add some extension tubes and that will help. But price-wise then it would be cheaper to just get the 2.8 macro. Ahhh choices... Good luck!

Thanks Greg for the note ... I must have been dreaming  but yes, it's "Canon Telephoto EF 100mm f/2.8 USM Macro Autofocus Lens" :p

How do people get these codes anyway? Email advertisements?

Not entirely sure but I think sometimes if you attend a tradeshow or workshop sponsored by B&H. Or maybe by being a member of a photography association...
I learned about them via this forum. And until recently you use to be able to search on B&H website by typing in "psmay codes" or something similar and a big list of discounted items would show up. Then you could hunt for the items you want and save them to your "wishlist". At least that is what I did back in May and still found the price for the 70-200 2.8 IS still good for 1499 late last week.
It's now changed back to 1699....so don't know if it was an oversight and they are honoring my order or the May codes simply expired and I ordered just under the wire.
I know there are tradeshows coming up later this summer so maybe B&H will have some specials for those attendees and that info. will filter out from there...?

Why are you returning it? If you do not need ot I am sure someone else will buy it from you.
