Note on Packaging:

The camera body you will receive is All BRAND NEW with a Full Canon USA Warranty and was originally packaged as a kit with the 30D Digital SLR Camera Body & 28-135mm IS USM Lens. You will receive the original Canon manufacturer's kit box with only the 28-135mm lens removed. It includes ALL original camera accessories (the Canon USA Warranty Card, Batteries, Chargers, Cords, Instruction Manuals, etc.). This camera is all BRAND NEW and has NEVER been used.

This is not bad... I got my 24-105 F4L from them for a Real good price.. $890 Brand new.. It was the same deal, it was part of the 5D kit with out the 5D, I got all the papers and accesories that came with the lense.. Good deal to jump on..

Well its your choice but the two sentences I have highlighted smells and I would stay far way from that.

But you're obviously not paying attention to the listing format.

Bought my 30D from them for $975 with buy-it-now. They are an authorized Canon dealer. It was a separated kit and came in the kit box. They are great sellers and their feedback proves it... The bidding option was + or - $25, so I elected the buy-it-now option at that time.

Well that looks legit to me and they have great feedback and thousands of sales...

There is still 2 days to go though, just needs a couple of idiots to bid against each other and the bargain is gone...

All the best

I didn't think the 30D was bundled with the 28-135mm lens ?

It isn't in the UK, but Canon do different bundles in other territories.

These are all the UK 30D kits...

Its now up to almost $900 and still more than 2 days to go...

The seller is legit, I bought my Canon 20D grip from them a couple months back and everything went extra smooth.

I do wonder about the legitimacy of an authorized dealer splitting kits since they (probably) paid a lower cost than if they bought the body and lens separately.

Kinda like a grocery store opening a pack of gum and selling one stick at a time...

They are legit, I bought a 30D from them just last week. Camera arrived as advertised with only the lens not in the box (they tore off the warranty sheet for it as well, but left the 30D part). I chose the Buy It Now and got it for $957 shipped, much lower than some of the auctions are going, even before shipping.

I don't know how canon would feel about it, but I'm thinking that whether they sold the kit or both items separately they made a tidy profit on their end, so they probably aren't that worried about it.
