spend some time shooting since the server was down. just a few different insects. thanks for looking. yea the second one is out of focus only got the wing i'm getting closer to get in flight shot.

Some good shots :)- whilst bees are easily found they are just about one of the most difficult bugs to get good shots of.
Love the weevil with an ant on it's nose - took me a while to work it out :)

The weevil and ant is cool :) Is the ant attacking the weevil or is it the other way around?

I'm by no means an expert but I would suggest trying to get more heads and eyes. They seem to be more popular around "macro people". I for one find those pictures much more captivating.


Gear: Powershot S3, Raynox DCR-250 macro, Raynox DCR-2020PRO tele, CHDK for RAW-output, cardboard, paper, aluminum foil, tape, glue, an icecream pack and a little imagination :)
