Colorspace Issues - Exporting Image?

I've got some RAW pictures on my camera which I've edited in Lightroom and then exported to Photoshop CS and saved as a tiff. I'd like to share these with people as a jpeg, but I'm having colourspace issues when I'm trying to save them.

When I open the tiff in Photoshop, it says the colourspace is ProPhoto RGB but when I try to save it, the picture comes out all washed out. I've tried to change the colourspace to sRGB manually and it does the same thing.

Can someone give me some guidance on how to export it?

Edit > Convert to profile.
Then convert to 8bpc, and save as jpg.
