You can get them less at most other places and when it comes down to it, you'll just want the camera and a memory card. I hate having all that other stuff. I got mine for simple use and when i dont want to carry my 20D around Last Shot Photography

But the S3 on it's on is very nice and I still use as such setting it in manual and just having fun. You can always pick up things along the way. Just like a DSLR, you don't go out and buy a MkIII and set of L's because you can without knowing much. Last Shot Photography
