PS color problems

im havibng a problem i have not discovered until i started using a dslr with raw. i have ps7 with camera raw plug in. in photoshop, my images have much less contrast and saturation. when i save them as jpegs and tiffs (the only formats ive tried) the image is saved and when viewed it is much more contrasty and dark. is there any way i can fix this?

maybe i made it too complicated:

1. import image

2. edit image

3. save image

4. image doesnt look the way i edited it, too dark/contrasty and more saturation

Are you converting to aRGB, or sRGB? If aRGB, try converting one to sRGB & see if there's still a difference when you view them after.
