Hi there- can someone recommend a good (cheapish ) flash bracket for my 350D-
I'm still not sure which flash I will go for but it will be either the Canon or Sigma
As in title it's needs to be somewhere in the UK... I can't really find any except these (external link) on ebay from Hong Kong...
Where do you guys get yours?

Thanks for any help

Hi thanks that looks pretty good- I'm thinking of getting one of these though as I don't want to wait like 2 weeks; it says on the listings something like that...
Anyway could you guys tell me which of these you think would be best- I'm leaning towards the cheap simple versions for now until I can find a really good one- or just stick with a simple one...
Anyway my choices currently are:
One (external link)
or
Two (external link)

Ofcourse if you know of somewhere with other options please do post them too-

Thanks again

I know a lot of people here use the Delta bracket, which is one of the best for macro and they are relatively cheap (compared to Kirk and Wimberley brackets).

Richard the Delta one seems like the best option and pretty cheap. I did some reasearch about this earlier this month :)

Good luck finding it in the UK though :(

But if you do want the Jessops one: Save 25% on all Jessops branded products using code JESODHSC25

;)

Richard,
If you go for the straight one - I'd think about modding it by drilling a 1/4" whole through the middle of the flash holder on the bracket and fitting a Jessops miniball. Two reasons for this :
1. the flanges on the canon off camera cord are notoriously weak and tend to break off- you are better off using a screw through the base fitting which a mini-ball will give you.

2. Adding a miniball will allow you enough movement of the flash gun to get the head (diffuser) near the end of the lens which is much more satisfactory for macro shots.

Search E-bay. I purchased mine from HK. A camera flip type similar to the Stroboframe.
Cost £9-99p. plus postage here in the UK. Some modification was needed so as to fit Nikon D200 and battery base. Excellent value for money. If you look on photographyon the net. forum you will find full instructions to beef up this great bracket.
