Hello everyone

I am using an s500 and would like to catch or freeze drops of liquid. The s500 has no shutter control. Do you know if its possible?

Does it have an automatic flash? = very short "exposure time" the closer you get.
Otherwise you probably don't have much hope except to pour as much light into the water as possible to force a fast shutter speed.

Dim the lights in the room and use the flash. you shouldn't have any problems freezing the drops with the flash. The trick is to time it just right so you catch the drop as it's falling. You'll just have to keep trying until you finally get it.

Does the s500 have an Uzi-Mode?
If yes, it's easy...
You let the drops fall down and press the shutter down. The cam takes a picture every ... second, then you have to sort the pictures...
Don't forget the flash.
Last time I did it with my G3, I took about 100 pictures, half a dozen turned out to be good...

Here are some examples : https://photography-on-the.net …ad.php?t=26025&highlight=
