More info | Jul 29, 2007 02:49 | #2 Unless it specifically listed Amazon as the seller, and not a third party (Joe's Fly-by-night Scameras), I'd question the validity of the deal. There have been several "too good to be true" 5D prices on Amazon mentioned here (one very recently) that have all turned out to be a third party abusing the Amazon marketplace. -David

It smells too much like a scam. The dealer is in Danbury CT and when I asked to stop buy to pick up the camera, I am told it will be shipped from Europe. Canon 7D
