thanks Sandy, Rookie and KK....
it is a very trendy place for some, the other streets close by don't have the paintings on the walls so much

its right in the centre of the city yet apart, so its fine by everyone. I believe at night it can be very noisy around there.
the 'artwork' looks attractive but you can see it 'covers' some very old buildings
its only when the top shows up (like in a photograph) that the real buildings have to stand up and be counted
at night all that fades into the background with psychedelic lighting

........ I imagine

I see many wearing even fuzzier and heavier boots over here in London Frank

among the crowds I saw a pair on a lady yesterday with the feet cut out (just soles to help walk on the hot pavements) high boots , tight leather way up the legs and on past the knees . laces holding all together (just about) body and soles
try and get your head around that
if only I could have described it properly

nearly forgot to mention the tight mini skirt above

they look ok ( in scorching hot sunshine)
but they must be roasted wearing boots

with the huge gaps in the leather, plenty of air conditioning in the feet though

Yes, I remember London in 1970. All the "Birds" were wearing Minis, Maxie coats, & high boots. I loved it! Of course, the coats were left open. :D
