Here's my contribution. This was from the IndyCar season finale in 2012 at Auto Club Speedway in Fontana. Will Power finds the wall while Ryan Hunter-Reay drives away to his first championship.

2014 Coronado Speed Festival

This series happened on the first lap of the first practice session. I guess the Red Mist took hold of the Porsche driver and three cars paid the price. The Porsche was bouncing so much that I couldn't follow the shots fast enough. Lesson learned; when I see it coming, zoom out. Duh! :oops: The whole sequence can be seen at Late Apex Photo (external link).

Apologies for the terrible use of lightroom, I'd only had it a few days at this point.

BMW E36 '344' coupe (4.4 V8 from an E39 iirc)-wheel fell off mid drift.

Quote from the driver: "I thought the driveshaft was going so I booted it and then the chuffing wheel fell off."
