Green-veined White Butterfly (Artogeia napi) taken yesterday.
400D with 24 - 105 f4 and 13mm extension ring.

Nice exposure and detail but a bit too detailed background around the body. Hard to make out any details. Might work better at bigger sizes though.


Gear: Powershot S3, Raynox DCR-250 macro, Raynox DCR-2020PRO tele, CHDK for RAW-output, cardboard, paper, aluminum foil, tape, glue, an icecream pack and a little imagination :)

Great compo, nice exposure Ray. Would love to see it larger though... for details.

Nice shot Ray, shame it's a little lost in the flower though. Maybe if you could have shot it a little lower it may have shown better against the green background.
