In dpp I convert and save to a jpg so the files are not raw for the photo store I bring them to, I was worried about the files being huge and not fitting on 1 disc but I'm ok. Canon 40d

If doing custom work many labs prefer to work with the original file before you have done any re-sizing and sharpening. They also have RIP programs that may do a superior job of preparing the photo for the printer.

Jul 30, 2007 00:50 | #6 I'm not touching dpi at all, or ppi, just the size of the photos. But even then I'm not, just converting them. From my understanding they might be doing them from like a home computer unless they send them out, either way I'm getting back good prints from them. I'll ask them though. Canon 40d
