Skip and I are taking a little vacation Sept 29-Oct. 5 in the San Juan Islands. We would love to meet up with anyone who would like to join us.
We are actually going to stay in Anacortes and ferry out to the islands for a few days, then travel into Seattle for a couple of nights before we head home.

I was hoping the weekend of Sept. 29-30, some of you might want to join us.

Life is hard...but I just take it one photograph at a time.

There's a cool place to camp/hike near that area on the scenic drive from portland to shortsands park on the coast. It's called saddle mountain, there's parking and campgrounds right next to the parking lot, and 3000 or so foot vertical monolith shaped like a saddle, a slow rising twisty trail going up to the top overlook, and the view is AMAZING, even at a quarter past midnight, if it's not raining or cloudy you can see portland city lights, washington lights, mount hood ski lift lights etc.
