Yeah, whenever I pay a visit to B&H and see all those lenses lined up on that counter, I have to change my underwear...;)

It was the first time I had been in a camera shop that size. All these lenses and bodies just sitting there waiting to be played with and at prices of 30% less than in Paris.

My wife was getting worried. Dont know why I only played with the 5D for 15 minutes.

cheers

is that the biggest camera store in tokyo? I'll be visiting tokyo for 5 days in mid-december (just in time for xmas!) and aside from my pilgrimage to canon japan, i'd love to track down the ultimate japanese photo store.

Think it is the biggest, certainly big enough for me (and my wallet). Though looking at your sig dont know if Laura would want any more competition.

cheers

Next time look on the shelves behind the counter and try not to scream out "Oh, dear God".

Sorry, lenses don't impress me nearly as much as a great image.
I guess I'm over being a GASoholic.

LOL. :lol::lol::lol:

Where I live, the camera store with the most selection might have at the most, 9 lenses on display. Do you have any more pictures taken from inside the store? :)

Back in the spring, I had the chance to wander around the PMA show in Vegas. Talk being a "kid in a candy store." The money spent by the biggies (Canon, Nikon, Sony, etc) for their displays was amazing. And it went way beyond just cameras and lenses. Printers, papers, inks, etc.

Canon had all their big glass mounted on individual stands (all that was missing was a place to put the quarter) so that people could just pop their camera body on and rip a few frames. 600mm f/4 could reach a long, long way across the convention floor!!
