I don't know what is going on, but about 15 of the 200 shots on the card are somewhat corrupt.

My laptop (where images were downloaded originally) with Bibble 4.9d loads the images just fine, but the desktop machine with Bibble 4.9.8c (slightly newer) displays either a completely red image, or a lot of corruption to the extent that you can't tell what the image is.

I did check hashes, and the hashes of the files are identical between machines.

Curiously enough Photoshop couldn't open them either.

So, is there anything I can do? I could work with them on the laptop for now and convert to JPEG so I have something. I want to prevent this in the future though, and I sort of suspect a faulty CF card.

The DPP software that comes with your Canon camera can definitely open your raw files. Update it to the latest verion (3.x) to make sure.
Which version of Photoshop do you use? AFAIK, CS2 ACR (with the latest update) supports 1DIIN raw.
