Excellent series of shots, #1 is my favorite, when I was a youngun I used to think the Woodlouse Spider Dysdera crocota was a Tick with monstrous legs :rolleyes: :lol:

Great series. If I had to pick, it would be #2.

Not had much success with spiders as yet. I need to modify my approach I think. Either that, or they're all camera-shy around here...

Bernie - main problem with most of these spiders is finding them in the first place and then being able to get an angle on them. It's only the jumping spider that was moving around much and even they aren't too bad when they are eating.

Mark - think that's the first time I've spotted that woodlouse spider - did think it had rather big fangs at the time- the ID explained it all
