Shot today in sunny Somerset. It's a male, feeding on devil's bit scabious. The day out was a bit of a dead loss except for this little fella.
Canon S3 with HDK hack + 500D. Natural light. C&C appreciated.

Super shot Eccles, I find myself using my Pany FZ8 more and more for macros when not in my garden as I'm so impressed with the quality and the ease of use with it. Much easier to carry around than all the DSLR gear.

That is one of the sweetest butterfly pics I have evern seen. Just a neat species, but your execution was flawless. A real keeper! Thanks for sharing!
