I don't have any experience with this remote, but dealextreme is a legitimate company that sells cheap knockoffs that ship from China. No scam site or anything.

I order stuff from dealextreme.com sometimes. The guy that runs it used to be partners with another guy at a company called FifthUnit.com but they had a falling out. The other guy started another company called kaidomain.com as well. They are legit and do sell knockoff stuff. The only downside is that it takes about 15-20 days to get what you ordered as they ship from China. Also it can be a big PITA to send back something if it doesnt work when you recieve it. I sent something back and it took like a month and a half to get a replacement.
