Only just found out- some of my dewdrop pics are in the daily mail today- haven't seen it yet.
[EDIT] Looks not bad for newspaper shots :)
Link here to the shots used http://www.dailymail.co.uk …id=471914&in_page_id=1965 (external link)
will try to get an electronic copy or photograph the paper.

Nice one Brian and very well deserved, have they offered you the position of the Daily Mails Official nature photographer? They should and give you loads of equipment of your choice to boot. :-) A nice selection of your dewdrop work.

Congratulations Brian. I have just taken a look in someone's copy of the paper at work - they have done a good job of portraying them in the paper. Well done!

Thanks for the comments everyone- always nice to get "published"- think this is what they call the newspaper silly season (ie holiday time).

Tony "Cant believe they called you a "Amateur " Well done. Most of us think of you as a pro macro photograher"

I am an amateur - don't really try to make money out of my pics- just enjoy the hobby. not sure if there is such a thing as a professional macrophotographer :)

Alby " Nice one Brian and very well deserved, have they offered you the position of the Daily Mails Official nature photographer? They should and give you loads of equipment of your choice to boot. A nice selection of your dewdrop work."

Not quite but but will get some money for it :)

Gordon " I`ll have to go out and the paper now - to go along with the Daily Mirror that i still have. Well done Brian and how did this come about ? ..."

It's the same media agency that contacted me last year- they recently asked about doing some more pics so I did a CD with some recent bug and dewdrop shots and someone picked it up. That was last week so they have got some pics placed fairly quickly.

Just to add to the fun I've got a small independant TV company coming round shortly (if the weather is ok) to do a bit for inclusion in Digital photography TV pilot they are doing. Probably means nothing will come of the pilot but I get a DVD of the action :).

I wondered if they'd get around to making something like this. Satellite TV seems to cover the most obtuse subjects, and I couldn't understand why photography hadn't got a look in.

Any details you can glean about if/when/where they will show the pilot would be much appreciated. :D

Hi Bernie - high likelyhood it will never get shown- heard that about 90% of tv pilots bite the dust, but obviously if something more comes of it will post. I gather the TV company can do me a Utube compatible version so maybe at least be able to post something there :)
