Whistler MTB, but a little different.

Shot some racing and some catalog stuff at Whistler this week.

Fraser always great shots! I think the shot of Cedric needs more room in front of him - bothers me he's cut off. Other than that, the color, quality, and composition works for the rest of the field.

Off topic...any word from pedalmag? I never got a copy or tear sheet.

Dave, I don;t have a copy yet either. I have to get on them about this.

They were shot from peak chair on whistler itself. We had to get special permission to take bikes up and shoot.

1,3,and 5 look incredible, as all of your shots are.

Cool shots! I like the lighting on the first one. Did you use 2 flashes for that? One on the side, and one by you (on camera?).

Is that creek in the background of the second to last one, the one that goes right next to the dj's?

3 flashes + sunlight on most of them.

Also, no to the creek. This is on the backside of the mountain near Symphony Bowl. You have to be up at Peak to see any of this (the chair that looks like it goes straight up a cliff above the top of the gondola). I got WAY lucky to get permission, super super stoked on them.

3 is just straight RETARDED and 5 is pretty close also! Hopefully Orange likes them. Good as always.....
