Learner Ant

With the hot weather today, my back garden has been erupting with flying ants.

They're pretty comical when they're starting off, they just kind of bounce on the deck, not really knowing how to take off (even when I pick them up gently and throw them into the air (they come down again alarmingly quickly!!))

A poor shot, but shows the awkardness of flight training.

I can't stand these bugs, they absolutely drive me nuts.

We've already had one explosion of these critters. I agree CG they do drive you nuts
