Pretty little micro moth

Am waiting for an ID on this one. Very very pretty with its pearly sheen and whispy fur

nice moth Linda. how come they always have their head down. can't hardly get a decent shot of their eyes in.

Thanks Bill. I reckon they are shielding their eyes from the light lol. No, seriously, I dont know to be honest. This one was in the kitchen and I was lucky enough to tease it onto a piece of paper so that I could get the photos.

lovely shots Linda, it looks like you need you rocket blower I can see a bit of sensor dust going on in these Unless it's the background.

Interesting little moth. How big was it?

Nice pics. Good idea, coaxing it on to a piece of paper. You can certainly get a great picture and it's a lot easier than standing on a chair.

I think that it is a Mother of Pearl moth.

Thanks Alby - could be a bit of both. I know I have a couple of sensor dust spots but I will wait until I see more before I use the blower (I dont like doing it lol - I scare myself in case I damage it :lol

Thanks I most certainly did not kill it, it was alive when I took the shots after it had flown indoors and was duly put back outside where it belongs
