Well I got a good workout tonight! I shoveled the front and the back...Twice! And it's heart-attack snow too...I put on my heart rate monitor and got my rate up in the 150's. That should have burned a few calories...;)

Down 1 lb. I have 1 lb. to go to meet my goal but now i am going to tack on that last 20 lbs.

Figured if I could get the first 40lbs. off, the last 20 could be attained.


Life is hard...but I just take it one photograph at a time.

my secret: eat very small snacks for breakfast & lunch, and for dinner, eat until i can tell that my stomach has food in it (cos after you first start eating, it still feels like youve had none) and stop before it tells you you're full, put the rest in the fridge for later/next day

Hey all...just checking in. I haven't posted here for a while. I gained 3 lbs over the holidays but managed to lose 2 again. Weather has been horrible the last couple of weeks so workouts have been limited to just the treadmill and weights at the "Y". I miss my long neighborhood walks

I've been eating so badly this past week and i haven't been to the gym at all. I don't know what's wrong with me. I love going to the gym, I love the way it makes me feel, i enjoy eating healthily, but it's just been something this last week and I've lost all my will to resist the bad food.

I reeeeaaaally need to get back into my mindset and back on track, I still have a bit more weight to lose before I can go on to my maintenance eating program.

Idea anyone? Or just feel free to rous on me!

Hey, sometimes a break from the diet is good. Just keep telling yourself that you WILL get back on track, and when the time is right it will happen.

MAX - I gained a pound last week. :p I had WAY too many milkshakes and cupcakes and sweet rolls and potato chips and... well, you get the idea. ;) But hey, it was VACATION! :D I'm being good this week. ;)

ok no change from last week MAX - had a sad week losing one of my cats to illness :-( and i think that whole depression/upset-state slowed down my metabolism, because i didnt change my eating habits

but my kids are back at school now so i will be a bit more active and plan to get back on the treadmill i'm paying $20 a week for!

So sorry to hear about your kitty! I love your attitude, though! It sounds like you will be getting your money's worth from that treadmill.

Photo Update - here is a snap Crissa took while we were at FutureWorld at WDW two weeks ago. I'm 25 pounds lighter than I was (7 months ago) in the Cayman Island photo way back near the start of the thread. :)

I weighed earlier in the week - over the past 2 weeks, I am down 2lbs which I'm pleased about. It's not been a great couple of months food and stress wise so I'm happy. Hope to get back on track properly again soon.
