Morning Wanda. :) Did the dip you had also have creamed cheese in it?

Yup. Not good, eh?

Not good - Delicious! ;)
Seriously, it's not that bad. Dairy is good for you - you said so yourself.
Depending on how you are managing your diet, the carb you were dipping into it is probably naughtier. :)

Cat, that was a funny video! That is actually quite an aerobic workout...:p Wanda, at least cream cheese is better than butter or that pizza I had last night. Go for the pretzels next time;). Confession is good for the soul though and I like the fact that we are all being honest here about our successes and small bumps on the road as we go along. I for one need to make sure I eat lunch otherwise I fall apart when dinnertime calls and turn into "BAD ED". I paid for my sins this morning! I walked the dogs for about 20 minutes and then went off on a 2 mile walk by myself. I would have taken Sam with me but I didn't want to break stride and besides I think I stressed him out the other day (it was too hot for a dog his size). Ongoing luck and success for all!:):)

YAY! And it WAS delicious, lol. Luckily I had limited time to socialize, so I got out before I ate too much.

And I don't really manage my diet, I just eat what sounds good, keeping the calorie budget in mind. I generally have a high carb/high protein diet. Its what I'm hungry for.

With the way food keeps popping up everywhere begging to be eaten, I'm beginning to think a person could get 2500 calories a day without ever buying any food! Life is one big buffet these days. :(

By diet I just mean what you eat. Sounds like you are managing it by caloric intake rather than reduced fat or controlled carbs. ;)

edit: do you take a multi vitamin?

Yup, plus calcium. Ditto for the short one.

We do extra C in the winter months. I had Allie on Omega 3 for a while but she hasn't been taking it lately. Supplements need school schedules, it seems like.

lol - my kids get a tiny plastic cup with their vitamins in it right next to their breakfast each morning. They can't turn on the TV unless they eat, take the vitamins and put their dishes in the sink. Behavioral psychology was a fun class in college. ;)

I never take vitamins, I have tried a few times but always slack off. This is why I eat at least 8 servings of fruit and veggies every day.

I think you are much more organized than I am, lol. The kid doesn't usually balk at taking supplements, but I have to get them out of the bottles first. She rarely gets hungry until she has been up for a couple of hours, but on school days I make her eat a few bites before she leaves. Usually some yogurt or half a slice of toast. I have this general rule that we only eat when we are hungry, and stop eating as soon as we are full. Anyway, the point is that I don't like her to take supplements on an empty stomach, and not very many on an almost empty stomach, so I have to remember to give her the supplements when she has had a decent-sized meal.

If I ate that much fruits and vegetables I would not have room for the meat and potatoes. I could never eat the recommended amount of all the food groups every day. Its too much food. I just don't get it.

It is beginning to happen. :)
Actually, my mother is of fine mind and in fairly good health which is a good thing, because my dad would need someone to help him out for sure.
