This is definately a cool thread! I wasn't even aware that stuff like this was available! I love this technical stuff! I am on the hunt for schematics on some of my other lenses listed below. If anyone can help I'd greatly appreciate it!

I'm pretty sure I have the Extender and the 580EX somewhere...

Sorry number six, I forgot to send you the PDFs. I'll do that as soon as I get them off my archive disk.

Anyone know where the 300d parts diagrams are? Need a Part no. for the rear panel flexi cable.

Cheers

Hi Photobiz, I saw those listed on the first page and I did download them but I figured that the mark II was a bit different than the mark I variant.

For those who haven't seen the other POTN thread discussing lens schematics ( https://photography-on-the.net …hread.php?t=727102&page=2 ) Roger Cicala of www.lensrentals.com (external link) has kindly provided a link from his website to a huge database of lens schematics. I have posted the direct link below:

Kewl. Everyone should check out the first item on his list (the zip file) which is a full repair manual for the 50/1.8, 28/2.8 & 15/2.8. Very good reading and should give the basics for working with most canon lenses.
