50mm Vs 24mm

I did a double take of the same scene with a 28mm and a 50mm reversed just to give an indication of the different magnifications - i had on also an ET of around 36mm for these shots :) ...

When you use a reverse adaptor it doesent really matter what type of lens it is, as long as it has the correct filter attachment size, in my case i am using an Olympus 28mm macro lens.

This is a Weevil i caught today (100% resize).

Gordon, nice shots. Can you tell me if you have the lens reversed on another lens of straight onto the body?

I have in this order :- the camera body - reverse adaptor - extension tubes - the lense .

I`ll do a picture of it shortly and post it up :) ...

So wait the shorted the focal length of the reversed lens the closer the magnification?
These are awesome by the way- convinced me to get the rings myself.

Great shots Gordon, I use the 18-55 reversed on the camera and the zoom in power is great...now I need an off camera flash :D
